Rental / payment policies

Returning your bike.

We agree on the return time, public meeting spot or collection arrangement before payment.

Arrange the return

Return by the date and time in your Rental Agreement. Meetups are by appointment, not at a walk-in storefront. Any collection fee is included in the confirmed quote. If you will be late, contact us promptly; an extension is not automatic. There is no flat late penalty or automatic renewal. For an unapproved delay caused by you, additional use is prorated from the paid rental charge and the actual late duration as stated in the agreement. No late-use charge applies when we fail to attend the agreed return. Contact us to agree a safe alternative.

Bring the complete kit

Return the bike and every item provided at handover: battery, charger, lock, keys or fob, helmet, delivery bag, phone holder and other loaned accessories. Let us know about missing items or problems before meeting us.

Inspection and condition

We compare the return condition, odometer and equipment with the handover record and condition photos. Normal wear from proper use is treated separately from damage or missing equipment. We acknowledge receipt of the equipment and provide a return record. We document any issue and explain the applicable agreement terms before resolving it. A return receipt and a completed refund are separate records. Do not arrange repairs without approval.

Security requirement

New rentals require a separate card-on-file authorization through Square, with no deposit collected. We remove the saved card at closeout as described in that authorization. Any claimed amount requires an itemized explanation and evidence under the signed terms. For an existing signed rental where a refundable deposit was collected, return and inspection determine whether any documented deductions apply. We initiate the refund of the undisputed balance within seven business days after return and inspection, subject to any shorter mandatory deadline. Any disputed amount requires an itemized explanation, evidence and an expected decision date. Bank processing time can vary. This website does not create a long-term card hold or automatically charge for damage.

Accident, theft or missing bike

Contact us immediately and provide the date, location, description and relevant police report information. Follow emergency-service guidance where someone is injured or in danger. Do not wait for the scheduled return to report an incident. Bikes may carry GPS/security devices for fleet security and recovery; see the Privacy Policy.
